Hornsby valley was quarried for 100 years to create an enormous hole adjacent to Hornsby's CBD. Once a burden on Hornsby Shire residents, it is being rehabilitated to create an enormous, diverse recreation area for which stage 1 has just opened to the public.
In Councillor Nathan Tilbury's presentation, you will learn about the site's fascinating history and how Council is progressively delivering the community's vision as a high value recreation park.
