Topic: Life in submarines
Doug will share his experiences of living in submarines. The talk aims to give us an understanding of what life in a submarine is like. News on the AUKUS program might have sparked your interest in submarines, so it will be interesting to hear Doug's perspective from an earlier period.
This is not a technical talk. Rather it’s the recollections of a young sailor who had only been to sea for three very seasick days on a ship during his first four years in the Navy before working on subs.
